Message from President
“Action for Impact”
Our slogan reflects our commitment to tangible results in our field of social work. And we are in it for the long haul…
This and the fact that Spectrum as a group has been such an inspiring influence on me for over 15 years now, gave me the conviction to step into this role.
Our Study group has nurtured us & built our collective capacity to play a proactive part in our country’s growth and transformation. We have also had the privilege to learn from the dedication and deep commitment of the NGO’s we partnered with over all these years.
With the right intent, and responsible actions, there’s no stopping our trajectory!
Our two Pillars, our verticals- Education & Environment- are in the caring hands of a dedicated group of women who ideate, research, plan & execute each project meticulously with an eye on fulfilling our mission. And what is incredible is, all of us have come together through the study group and therefore share and believe in the ethos of SPECTRUM.
What excites me is that we are ready to make the leap… Our members are committed, our Advisory board is guiding us & our Charter committee has given us all the right building blocks. And slowly and steadily, we have made progress!
Spectrum has already completed close to 12 Bore well recharge projects, helping direct over 2 crore liters of water to our ground aquifers. All these have been installed at PMC run schools, with large terrace run offs that is now being harvested and sent to the underground reserves.
From holding online spoken english classes in lockdown, we now have a customized syllabus for Life skill training through conversational English, trained teachers to be facilitators at 3 schools for underprivileged students from varied vernacular backgrounds. We are today impacting over 200+ students every year!
The learnings have been enriching too… We learnt to focus on our goals, reach out to supporters and contributors, consolidate our work over three decades, understand our strength and capacity & take a leap of faith… because we believe that every action, no matter how small, contributes to meaningful impact in the community.
Come let us join hands and become force multipliers to make a positive impact in bettering lives & enabling natural resource building. Come let us revel in building a great Nation!

One of the biggest crisis that the world is facing today is water. It's high time we do work on this more seriously. I congratulate Spectrum for taking this initiative. We need more people to get involved and create awareness for the same.
